ALBANO ANDERSON RODRIGUEZ GOMEZ

[ANDERSON ALBANO]

Wood was born in Ceiba, Moca in 1976. He studied graphic design at the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo [UASD], and drawing and painting at the School of Fine Arts, Gabriel del Orbe of his hometown, Painting in the studio of Hugo Mata, and with Fausto Ortiz Art Photography Home Art.

Among the many exhibitions he has participated include: the first shows of the Community of Artists 'Light, Color and Shadow', the same name in Casa de Arte, Santiago, 2001. The third exhibition in the Palace Hall in Santiago, "Witness of Our Times', in 2003 and 'Third Season' at the Cultural Center of Santiago, in 2007, as well as' Presence 'at Casa de Cultura de Santiago ,''First Exposure Mocanes Painters' at the Museum of Dominican Man, Santo Domingo, in 2004,''''The Cibao Pinta, in 2001 and 2003 and''Espaillat Province: Space, Vision and Culture,''in The Secretariat State for Culture, Ramón Oviedo room, Santo Domingo, 2008, and "Shades of the Tropics" in the Dominican Cultural Comicionado, Manhattan, New York on August 6, 2010.

Among the contests in which he has participated include: 'Competition Mocanes Painters', School of Fine Arts in Moca [Placeholder]; 'Contest San Victor Painters', 1997 and 1998 [twice the first place], National Competition 'brushstrokes to Camp' [words] and National Creativity Competition''''Helvetas, 2000 and 2003.
